Seeker, for Drone Interceptors

Ultralight Radar – Terminal Guidance Resilience for Interceptors

Based upon recent application experience we are re-engineering the platform to meet the differing needs of interceptor terminal guidance.  As a result, Sensoriis will be re-structuring and in due course separate out the terminal guidance seeker platform into a new company.

We ask that you please bear with us during this period and recommend that you re-connect with us in 12 months’ time.

Solutions are emerging to manage the burgeoning threat of hostile drone attacks: counter-UAS technologies, laser beams, electronic warfare jamming and traditional munitions rounds. In addition ‘interceptor’ drones, which are designed to identify, target, track and counter the hostile drone threat at low cost.

These interceptor drones require terminal guidance seeker systems to accurately ‘lock on’ and track adversarial targets. Such systems employ EO/IR sensors, computer vision and human-in-the-loop to ensure mission success. They can now be bolstered by radar for additional resilience in challenging conditions.

An ultralight, micro-radar specifically designed for air-to-air object detection and tracking. It comprises no moving parts, fully electronic beam steer antenna arrays, and is designed to meet the low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) requirements of a seeker for counter drone Interceptors.

Dessigned and developed in the UK by Cambridge Sensoriis, which means that the radar device can be ‘tuned’ to meet the differing characteristics of the particular mission – essential given the evolving nature of battlefield CONOPS.
