Our Expertise

We have more than 50 years’ experience and expertise in radar antenna design, and we are a first mover in developing low SWaP (Size, Weight, Power, and cost) radar systems specifically for drone deployment.

Our proprietary radar software has been developed in-house specifically for the UAV industry. It is drone agnostic and has been designed for seamless integration onto any UAV via an intuitive Application Programming Interface (API) or MAVLink protocol.

Real-world deployments in multiple countries with numerous partners has enabled us to gain invaluable experience not only in operational CONOPS, but also the integration and performance tuning of industry autopilots, such as ArduPilot and PX4.

Sensoriis ARC technology performed the first autonomous landing on a vessel at sea, managing the associated pitch, roll and yaw of the vessel.

Ultralight Radar Technology

Our unique radar technology, which employs the FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) methodology, has been developed in a compact, low power form factor with no moving parts. Additionally, our radars are highly sensitive and offer a high spatial resolution over long range, with a robust capability to penetrate fog, smoke, and dust.

Their precision and accuracy are resilient in adverse weather and/or poor light conditions, outperforming optical sensors, LiDAR, infrared cameras and laser systems. We utilize a 4D radar design yielding data such as range, bearing (azimuth), elevation, altitude, plus  direct velocity and tracking from the Doppler measurement. 

Sensoriis patented ‘Active Radar Co-operation’ methodology allows communication and data share between radars across a unique channel, which can be used to support specific UAV CONOPS and swarm management.

Precision Landing

Accurate localisation and resilient landing capabilities are vital to Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) successfully completing their missions and ultimately securing Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operational certification.

A resilient landing solution for precision landing on a static or moving pad or vehicle – including vessels at sea.

ARCTM operates in adverse weather and GNSS-denied environments for automated precision landing.

Positional Tethering

“UAV loiter” is an operational mode where a UAV navigates to and maintains a fixed position and altitude above a designated target point. It is especially valuable for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, or search and rescue operations where speed and precision are crucial. 

ARCTM enables radar-based tethering above both stationary and moving target positions.
