Cambridge Sensoriis Appoints Mike Hall as Chief Executive Officer

Cambridge Sensoriis (Sensoriis) today announced the appointment of Mike Hall as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 2nd April 2026.

Mike succeeds Dr Steve Clark, who will continue to be involved with Sensoriis as the Founder and a Member of the Board. Mike was instrumental in delivering Sensoriis’ patented capability and has been with the company from its inception. With an MEng Electronic Eng. 1st Class from Sheffield University and expertise in Algorithm design, digital signal processing and AI, Mike brings together significant technical prowess and a passion; for team and customer success.

Sensoriis began developing pioneering ultralight radar solutions in 2020 under the stewardship of Steve, who had the insight to take his automotive radar experience into the burgeoning drone industry. Since then, Sensoriis technology has been sold into some 10 countries and has led to product solutions both for precision landing (ARCTM) and obstacle detection (Radar AwareTM).

During this time, Sensoriis has solidified its position as the market leading precision landing solution for adverse weather and GNSS-Denied scenarios, with ARCTM successfully achieving radar-based autonomous landings on moving vessels at sea.

“I’m honoured that the Board have given me the role of CEO” said Mike. ”I’ve truly loved the last six years with Cambridge Sensoriis, developing our nascent cooperative radar technology, and latterly as CTO growing our engineering team. We have such a strong team across all our disciplines, and have realised world leading technological innovations, underpinning our best-in-class product solutions. We’re at such an exciting and critical juncture now as we drive toward massive adoption of our solutions within the drone industry, I’m thrilled at the opportunity to lead the business through this next phase.”

With market validation accelerating, Mike takes the helm at Sensoriis as it focuses on the further development of Sensoriis’ flagship product ARCTM and related collaborative radar systems. Recent geo-conflicts have seen the Company’s obstacle detection solution move more towards terminal guidance and tracking for interceptor applications, and such is the growing demand in this area that the Company has decided to re-structure and in due course separate out the terminal guidance interceptor application into a new company.

“Protecting civilians from hostile drone attacks is an urgent global challenge, and one I’m now committed to addressing,” said Steve. “I’m proud to leave the precision landing and collaborative micro radar business in Mike’s capable hands, he has led ARC development from the very beginning, and the latest firmware release represents a significant leap forward in automation and usability—clear proof that he is exceptionally well-positioned to lead Sensoriis into its next chapter.”

“We owe a great deal to Steve’s drive and business acumen in building the company to where it is today, and we’re sincerely grateful,” Mike continued. “This transition gives both applications the opportunity to grow independently, and we wish Steve all the very best in his future endeavours.”
